Description

The aerodynamics through the inside of the side pods must have been both a joy when it worked and a nightmare when it didn't... like the 956/962, the MP4/2, 3, 4, etc, were all about fairly easy to model and build surfaces, mostly flat surfaces, as viewed in section, from fore or aft. Look at the profile (left/right)and its all about curves, for airflow issues. But the two other dimensions, from above/below and fore/aft, are as flat and square as they can be. That's some serious discipline on John Barnard's part when he was designing the chassis and body.
