| Description |
English: The gothic St-Katelijnekerk (St-Catherine's Church) in Mechelen.
Nederlands: De gotische St-Katelijnekerk in Mechelen. Het kerkschip en de doopkapel dateren uit de eerste helft van de veertiende eeuw. De kruisbeuk en het koor zijn eraan toegevoegd in de vijftiende eeuw. De vierkante toren op de kruising verwijst naar de zgn. Scheldegotiek. Nog later zijn er zijkapellen bijgebouwd: de Sint-Jozefkapel met een altaar van witte en zwarte marmer, vervaardigd door Lucas Fayd’herbe (midden zeventiende eeuw) en de Sint-Antoniuskapel (negentiende eeuw).
