Summary
[edit]DescriptionMediatectures und Deponiekoerper by Thomas Spiegelhalter 1990-Chimaerische Arbeitsmetapher.jpg |
English: Architect Thomas Spiegelhalter presented his publication and exhibition titled "Mediatectures and Landfill Bodies" at three venues in Freiburg, Germany, namely Kunstverein Freiburg, Architekturforum Freiburg e.V., and Galerie Blau. The second volume of this publication, titled "Beryl A" and published in 1990 by Verlag Juergen Haeusser Darmstadt, features "Mediatecturen und Deponiekoerper" (Gravel Pit Architecture). The foreword for this volume was written by Prof. Dr. Stefan Berg from Kunstmuseum Bonn, and it includes text contributions from Zamp-Kelp and Hausrucker Co, both based in Vienna. Additionally, the picture collage featured in the project depicts the "Brain wave measurement collage 1991," exploring the interstitial spaces in hybrid and chimeric work metaphors, specifically where industrial fields and places intersect. The project aims to fill the blank spots on the map. |
