English: Live reconstruction of Megalania (Varanus priscus) as a giant Thorny Devil (Moloch horridus) as envisioned by Richard Owen in 1880. The reconstruction combines the vertebrae of Megalania with the skull and tail of Ninjemys oweni (a meiolaniid turtle) and the leg bones of large marsupials.
