Description
Deutsch: Am Untertor: Untertor; dreigeschossiges Stadttor, 13. Jahrhundert und später. Meisenheim besaß einst drei Stadttore, von denen aber zwei im Jahre 1822 abgebrochen wurden. Das einzig erhaltene Stadttor ist dies Untertor mit den ältesten Teilen des Torturmes aus dem 14. Jahrhundert, eines der Wahrzeichen der Stadt. Dieser Torturm schützte die von Osten über die Glanbrücke führende Zufahrt zur Stadt.
