Summary[edit]
DescriptionMemorial Stadium, Home of the University of Nebraska Cornhuskers, Lincoln, Nebraska (69182845).jpg |
Memorial Stadium is located on the campus of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in Lincoln, Nebraska, United States. It is the home of the Nebraska Cornhuskers football team. The stadium holds an ongoing NCAA record of 337 consecutive sellouts, which began in 1962. When full, Memorial Stadium holds more people than any Nebraska city except Omaha and Lincoln. Because most fans wear red apparel, the stadium is referred to as the "Sea of Red" on game days. On October 15, 2010, the University announced that its Board of Regents had approved an expansion project that is anticipated to cost up to $65 million, increasing the stadium's listed seating capacity to 87,000. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Memorial_Stadium,_Lincoln en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Text_of_Creative_Commons_... |
