Description
English: Major General Gibbes Bigaud, Hon. M.A. of the University of Oxford who served with the 60th Royal Rifles for 32 years and took part in the South African campaign of 1851-3 and in the war with China in 1860 and commanded the Second Battalion of the 60th till he retired in the year 1873. He was born 22 May 1820 and died 1 Jan 1885.
