Description
Español: Busto y placa conmemorativo de Juan Estrada Castro, en la iglesia de la Divina Pastora y Santa Teresa, en la plaza de Capuchinos, Málaga, España. El busto, obra en bronce de Jaime Pimentel del año 2000, se asienta sobre un pedestal de piedra en el que se sitúa una placa donde se lee: «"No hagas el mal y el mal no caerá sobre ti" / Rd. Dn. Juan Estrada Castro / 1er Párroco de la Divina Pastora y Sta. Teresa de Jesús / 6 Enero 1951 + 30 Abril 1974 / Málaga 24 Junio 2000». En la placa conmemorativa de la pared se lee: «En esta Iglesia, Parroquia de la Divina Pastora y Santa Teresa de Jesús, / reposan los restos de Rvdo. D. Juan Estrada Castro, / Primer párroco de este templo, donde ejerció su ministerio sacerdotal / desde el 2 de Diciembre de 1950 hasta el día de su muerte, / acontecido el 30 de Abril de 1974. / Su recuerdo pervive en el barrio de Capuchinos, lugar en el que / desempeño el periodo más profundo y fructífero de su vida pastoral, / ejerciendo su sacerdocio con humildad, entrega, bondad y alegría. / En Málaga a 10 de marzo de 2008».
