Description
Bahasa Indonesia: Sejumlah masyarakat di Kabupaten Mamasa berbondong-bondong mengangkat jenazah melewati pematang sawah untuk mengikuti ritual kematian Mangngaro.

Mangangaro merupakan prosesi upacara kematian yang dilakukan masyarakat Mamasa di Kecamatan Nosu, Kabupaten Mamasa, Sulawesi Barat. Ritual ini dimulai dengan mengeluarkan jasad para leluhur dari liang kubur yang bentuknya seperti Lumbung "Alang" dan Goa Tanah atau Batu Lokko. Setelah itu jasad tersebut dibungkus ulang "Dibalun" yang diawali dengan upacara pemotongan kerbau serta babi.

Jasad leluhur yang dikeluarkan "Diaro" dari kubur tersebut kemudian disemayamkan di tanah datar sekitar persawahan (Ratte) selama satu malam untuk proses membungkus ulang sebelum dimasukkan kembali ke dalam alang atau lokko.
