６陽極水銀整流管の回路図上の略図。 陰極傍の●はガス入り真空管を示し、 電極のないこぶは冷却管を示してガラス水銀整流管風として他の２極真空管との違いを表した。
　電極はこのほかに最初にアークを作る「点弧極」、各陽極用のアークを維持させる「励弧極」があるが、これらは水銀整流器の機能維持のためのもので、「整流回路」一般を論じるには主陽極だけで足りるため略図には加えていない。
