Description
English: On the 14th August 2014 I took a circular tour by rail of Snowdonia, starting in Chester. The route was: Chester-Llandudno Junction-Blaenau Ffestiniog-Porthmadog-Caernarfon (Bus to Bangor) Bangor-Chester. This gives 40+ miles of articulated narrow-gauge steam haulage and splendid view of the spectacular Snowdonia scenery from trains fully equipped with a licenced bar! And all for £44 day return using a North Wales Rover ticket available from any BR station. It even includes the express bus link.
