English: Detail of truss on west (upstream) side of bridge on the Meridian Highway in Pierce County, Nebraska. The bridge now carries county road 552 across the North Fork of the Elkhorn River. It is part of a 4.5-mile (7.2 km) segment of the highway that is listed in the National Register of Historic Places. The bridge was constructed in 1915 by the Canton Bridge Company; it features Warren pony trusses. |
