Español: Meridiana solar, construida por el matemático húngaro y Jesuita Jan Wendlingen en 1755, en el Palacio de los Austrias de el Monasterio de San Lorenzo del Escorial. Servía para calcular el medio día solar por un rayo que entraba desde el exterior y de esta forma podían poner en hora los relojes.
English: Solar meridian, built by the Hungarian mathematician and Jesuit Jan Wendlingen in 1755, in the Hapsburg Palace of the Monastery of San Lorenzo del Escorial. It was used to calculate the solar noon by means of a ray that entered from the outside and in this way they could set the clocks. |
