Description
English: Methi na shakarpara is a popular jar snack from the land of the land of Gujarat.

Shakarpara can be made sweet or savoury. Methi na shakarpara is a lips smacking savoury snack, which is made from whole wheat flour Fenugreek leaves (methi) and other Indian spices. This is one of the highly aromatic as well as deep fried snack. It is known by different names like namkeen shakarpara, namak pare, methi shakarpara, masala namkeen shakarpara, etc. It is made in large volumes during festival occasion like diwali, janmashtami, etc. This is readily available snacks from any Farshan shop in Gujarat.

Usually it is served along with tea. It can be stored in Air tight container for 15 days at room temperature.
