English: Photo from ca. 1905 showing Meyer Manor, (Meyergården in Norwegian). Former wooden building from the 18th century in the
former Lille Strandgt. number 4 in Oslo. The manor laid across the street from Paléet seen to the right in the picture, where Christian Frederiks plass at Østbanen is today. At the groundfloor one can see a small tobaccoshop where two men are standing outside. To the left there is a outdoor shop selling fruit and a customer buying. Meyergården was demolished early in the 20th century, Paléet demolished in 1942 after a fire.
Norsk bokmål: Oversiktsbilde fra ca. 1905 som viser Meyergården midt i bildet. Meyergården lå i Lille Strandgt. nr. 4 i Oslo, trebygning fra 1700-tallet. Gården lå i den nordlige delen av Paléhaven, tvers overfor Paléet som såvidt sees til høyre i bildet, ved dagens Christian Frederiks plass ved Østbanen. I første etasje ser man en tobakksbutikk hvor det står
to menn utenfor. Til venstre for Meyergården utendørs fruktsalg hvor en kunde handler. Meyergården ble revet tidlig på 1900-tallet, Paléet ble revet etter en brann i 1942. |
