Русский: Микроводоросль Micrasterias truncata Brébisson ex Ralfs. Длина клетки по большой стороне - 95 микрометров. К роду микрастериас относятся наиболее высоко дифференцированные и красивые виды десмидиевых. Это одноклеточные микроводоросли, состоящие из двух полуклеток. Полуклетки разделены глубокими вырезами на три лопасти: полярную и две боковые. Хлоропласты осевые, по одному в полуклетке, с изрезанными краями и многочисленными пиреноидами.

Cell length (long side) – 95 µm The genus Micrasterias includes a lot of highly differentiated and beautiful Desmidiales. It’s a unicellular microalga with dual semi-cell structure. The semi-cells are separated by deep cuts on three blades: polar and two sidepieces. Each semi-cell contains a single large axial chloroplast with indented edges and numerous pyrenoids.
