Description
English: The view across the waters known as Upper Pitt Water, some 25 kilometres south east of Hobart, Tasmania. The waters are a protected area for the breeding grounds of sharks and stingrays.

The Upper Pitt Water represents the upper portion of Pitt Water which is nominally dissected one of the two causeways connecting the Midway Point suburb. The waters are an important breeding ground for ray and particularly various species of sharks, some of which of an economic importance to fisheries.
