Description
Deutsch: MiG-21US auf dem Flugplatz Stendal-Borstel. Werksnummer 05685139, NVA 246. Indienststellung 06/1969 JG-1, ab 1978 FAG-15 in Rothenburg. In Stendal neu silbern lackiert und mit falscher Kennung 241 rot und Hoheitszeichen ohne Emblem versehen.
English: MiG-21US Trainer. Received new silver paintshop and fake bort number "Red 241". Also faked roundell. Original bort number was "246". This particular aricraft served with JG-1 ("Jagdgeschwader 1") and later FAG-15 ("Fliegerausbildungsgeschwader 15", No. 15 training squadron) in de:Rothenburg/Oberlausitz. Now on display at Stendal-Borstel airfield, Stendal, Saxony-Anhalt, Germany.
