هذا الجامع هو أول المسجدين الذين أنشأتهما مهرماه سلطان ابنة السلطان سليمان القانوني وزوجة الصدر الأعظم رستم باشا ويحملان اسمها: أولهما جامع مهرماه سلطان بأسكدار وثانيهما جامع مهرماه سلطان بإديرنا كابي (بين 1562-1565م). وقد صمم المسجدين المعماري العثماني الأشهر معمار سنان وتم بناء جامع مهرماه سلطان بأسكدار بين أعوام 1546 و 1548م. قبر عثمان بك ابن الصدر الأعظم رستم باشا الكائن خارج المسجد.English: Mihrimah Sultan Mosque (built 1548), is an Ottoman mosque located in the historic center of the Üsküdar municipality in Istanbul, Turkey.
It is the first of two mosques built by Mihrimah Sultan, daughter of Sultan Suleiman the Magnificent and wife of Grand Vizier Rüstem Pasha.It was designed by Mimar Sinan and built between 1546 and 1548. |
