Description

Ambassador Mikaela Kumlin Granit of Sweden, Outgoing Chair of the IAEA Board of Governors, presented to Rafael Mariano Grossi, IAEA Director General, the Non-Violence Sculpture ‘The Knotted Gun’, donated by the Permanent Mission of Sweden on the occasion of the Swedish Chairmanship of the IAEA Board of Governors 2019-2020. The Knotted Gun is a vision of World Peace. The original displayed at the United Nations’ Headquarters in New York. Created by the Swedish artist Carl Fredrik Reuterswärd; colour pattern by Paul McCartney. IAEA Vienna, Austria. 28 September 2020
