Description

One of the relief carvings along the cornice, on Mill Hill Unitarian Chapel, City Square, Leeds, West Yorkshire, England. Architects Bowman & Crowther of Manchester, opened 1848. All original architectural stone carving is by Robert Mawer. This one could be Adam in the Garden of Eden, because it resembles the carving of Adam on the chapel's reredos.

Note: most of these exterior stone carvings are weather-worn.
