Description
English: The huge orchard was wiped out by a flood in 1904. Before it had produced enormous quantities of fruit distributed around the west by rail.

Mills Canyon is managed by the Forest Service Dept. of Agriculture and is part of Kiowa National Grasslands. There is a campground available. There are interpretive signs about the history, flora and fauna, and geology in the canyon. In Harding Co. NM, off highway NM39
