English: The flag of the municipalities of monkeys, consisting of three diagonal stripes containing three colors and framing the significant diversity of this town
In the corner of the green: Extenso Valley, which characterizes the region as well represenata own crops in the municipality. The central strip with the color blue: The Sea, which stretches across the town, with 24 km of coastline. At the bottom the white: La Paz, the people who yearn for his people and his country, it also means that monkeys are quiet and people are friendly and pure. In half of the flag is an anchor that evokes one of the main activities in this coastal town, thus, the fishing done by the majority of its inhabitants in the urban area.Español: La bandera del Muncipio de Moñitos, consta de tres franjas diagonales que contienen tres colores significativos y que enmarcan la dive rsidad de este pueblo
En la franja de la esquina superior, el verde: Extenso Valle, que caracteriza a la region, ademas represenata los cultivos propios del municipio. La franja central con el color azul: El Mar, que se extiende a lo largo y ancho del municipio, con 24 km de costas. En la parte inferior la franja blanca: La Paz, que anhelan los habitantes para su pueblo y su pais, tambien quiere decir que Moñitos es tranquilidad y su gente es gente amable y pura. En la mitad del bandera se encuentra un ancla que evoca una de las principales actividades de este municipio costero, representando asi, la pesca artesanal realizada por la mayoria de su habitantes de la zona urbana. |
