Español: Parque nacional Rapa Nui es una tierra mágica cubierta de misterios , sus primeros habitantes fueron navegantes Polinesicos. Se reconoce a Hotu Matu'a como el primero en llegar a poblar la isla conocida como el ombligo del mundo al rededor del siglo VI, junto a su familia y otros 100 navegantes. El culto a sus antepasados los llevo a levantar estos increíbles monumentos de piedra volcánica en honor a ellos, Rano Raraku fue su principal cantera, Cuenta la leyenda que la isla es habitada por unos seres místicos llamados Cava Cava que son sus protectores. La sobre población llevo finalmente a una guerra interna (falta de alimentos) a las 12 tribu que termina con el culto a los Moais para cambiar todo su orden politico social religiosa al culto del Tangata Manu "Hombre Pajaro" el cual en si es el titulo que se logra por medio de una competencia para ser el gobernante de la isla "Ariki". Esta competencia versa en encontrar el primer huevo del Manutara (gaviotin tipico de la isla que anida en sus peñascos específicamente Moto Nui ) El gobernante tendra este puesto durante un año hasta la próxima anidación. Rapa Nui Recibe el nombre de Isla De pascua en 1722 por el navegante Holandes Jacob Roggeven para finalmente ser incorporada al territorio Chileno el 9 de septiembre de 1888 por el Capitan Policarpo Toro comenzando un nuevo periodo de esclavitud en la isla la se extndio hasta 1966 cuando la sangre navegante de los Rapa Nui los motivo a escapar de la isla y buscar ayuda en la Polinecia francesa , hecho que por fin logro que se les considerara ciudadanos Chilenos plenos de derechos Fundamentales |
