Français : Modèle de l'évolution d'un oeil issu du travail de Nilsson et Pelger de 1994. À partir d'un patch de cellules sensibles à la lumière (violet) en sandwich entre une couche protectrice transparente (bleu) et une couche de cellules pigmentées (noir), sous une pression sélectionnant à chaque génération les yeux dont les performances optiques sont les plus importantes, un oeil de structure proche de celle de l'oeil humain est obtenu en moins de 400 000 générations. Le nombre de modifications élémentaires de 1% nécessaire pour passer d'une structure à l'autre est indiqué à droite des flèches. |
