中文：台中市政府客家事務委員會今(11)日在東勢客家文化園區舉行龜粄模簽贈儀式，由桃園市民李聯慶先生將珍藏30餘年的龜粄模無償贈予市府客委會，置於東勢客家文化園區常設展示，除可讓民眾認識客庄粄食文化的多樣性， 也為客庄傳統文化跨域交流增添一樁美事。

捐贈人李聯慶先生表示，他從民國76年搬到桃園平鎮後，隔年就開始做油飯營生，每年農曆二月初二、八月初二伯公生，住家附近主祀三官大帝的三崇宮舉辦乞龜平安活動，剛開始還願時，都是自製小型米糕龜供祈得信眾分食，因大獲好評，於是特地請雕刻師傅尋找楠木料，以無接縫一體成型方式雕刻出一個長125公分、寬89公分、厚14公分的龜粄模，開始做大型米糕龜。

李先生指出，製作米糕龜的工序繁複，首先須將糯米蒸熟加糖攪拌，再加上龍眼乾、芝麻等配料增添口感；另也拌入米酒防腐，過程中還須用電扇吹涼，最後將米糕裝入龜殼後推平壓實，先放置一片玻璃紙後再上板子翻過面才完成，因此需要多人製作，相當耗時且耗力，由於小孩都在外就學、上班，家中人力不足，感嘆無暇再製作。
