| Description |
Deutsch: Das Wappen der Familie von Mailsdorp zeigt zwei Schwanenhälse, die sich anschauen und dabei mit ihren Schnäbeln einen Ring halten. Die Familie von Maisldorp - vermutlich Freie Reichsritter - ist ab 1180 in der Region nachweisbar. Der Hof der Familie von Mailsdorp lag im heutigen Deelen. Er spaltete sich im Laufe von Jahrhunderte in die eigenständigen Höfe: Genshof, Damianshof und Flockenhof auf. Das Wappen der thüringischen Stadt Molsdorf weist ein hohes Maß an Übereinstimmung auf. |
