Description
English: In the year 1562 in the Calends of November, at Villa franca in Gafconie, this monfter, a headlefs woman, whofe figure thou here fee'ft, was born, which figure Dr. John Altinus the Phyfician gave to mee, when I went about this book of Monfters, hee haveing received from Fontanus the Phyfician of Angoleftre, who feriously affirmed hee faw it.
