Description
Français : Aimé PONS est l'arrière grand père paternel de la contributrice Céline LAURENT. Il nait à Saint-Georges-d'Orques puis s'installe à Cournonterral où il a rencontré une femme avec laquelle il aura 3 enfants : Catherine, Augusta (grand-mère de la contributrice), et Joseph, le dernier, en 1914. Il vit toujours à Cournonterral lorsqu'il est mobilisé vers Belfort pour la guerre en tant que boulanger, profession de son père qui n'est pourtant pas la sienne. Il revient après la guerre, en 1918 où il deviendra agriculteur.

Il meurt en 1947, ses cartes postales ont été précieusement gardées par sa fille, qui a ensuite donné ces documents à sa petite fille, Céline LAURENT.

Pour sa famille, Aimé PONS a été très chanceux durant cette guerre du fait de son poste sans grande dangerosité, mais aussi par son caractère "débrouillard" qui lui a été utile. Motivations du contributeur : faire partager un patrimoine familial, volonté de sensibiliser à la jeune génération l'histoire de cette période

Cartes postales dont la moitié est de la correspondance d'Aimé à sa famille, l'autre moitié vient de ses amis aussi sur le front écrites à Aimé Pons.

Les cartes postales sont écrites entre 1916 et 1918. Elles parlent peu de la vie de soldat, mais surtout de nourriture. Donne en détail les menus.
