Français : Le Monument de Nanto est au cœur de la ville de natitingou, entre les deux grandes banck de la ville la BOA ET L'ORABANK. selon l'histoire Nanto etais l'homme qui lui a donné son nom : a la ville. Ce waaba vivait à une époque lointaine et son comportement de célibataire, s'adonnant lui-même à la cuisine l'aurait fait distinguer, voire trouver étrange par ses compatriotes.
Il fut d'ailleurs surnommé "l'homme qui écrase" . Natitingou signifiait le village de l'homme qui écrase.
English: The Monument of Nanto is in the heart of the city of natitingou, between the two big banks of the city BOA AND ORABANK. according to history Nanto was the man who gave him his name: to the city. This waaba lived in a distant time and his behavior as a single, indulging himself in cooking would have made him distinguish, even find strange by his compatriots.
He was nicknamed "the man who crushes". Natitingou meant the village of the man who crushes. |
