De tekst vertaald staat voor "DANK U , U POLEN", het embleem is van de 1e Poolse Pantserdivisie. Onder de plaquette staat naast een danktekst (Als dank aan alle Poolse militairen die streden voor onze vrijheid), ook een plaatsingsdatum (28 oktober 2001,) De opdrachtgever (Comite herdenking 1944) en de naam van de maker (Glasatalier Den Ridder)
