Se trata de un conjunto escultórico en homenaje al político José Calvo Sotelo que fue asesinado el 13 de julio de 1936. La obra fue diseñada por el arquitecto Manuel Manzano Monís y pertenece al escultor Carlos Ferreira. El conjunto monumental fue inaugurado el 13 de julio de 1960. It is a sculptural group in homage to the politician José Calvo Sotelo who was assassinated on July 13, 1936. The work was designed by the architect Manuel Manzano Monís and belongs to the sculptor Carlos Ferreira. The monumental was inaugurated on July 13, 1960.
