English: Partial view of the monument to Miguel de Cervantes at the Plaza de las Cortes (square) in Madrid (Spain), inaugurated in 1835. Bronze statue was designed by sculptor Antonio Solá and cast in Rome by Prussian artists Wilhelm N. Hopfgarten and Ludwig Jollage. Pedestal was projected by architect Isidro González Velázquez and it has two bronze reliefs by José Piquer.
Español: Vista parcial del monumento a Miguel de Cervantes de la Plaza de las Cortes de Madrid (España), inaugurado en 1835. La estatua de bronce fue diseñada por el escultor Antonio Solá y fundida en Roma por los artistas prusianos Wilhelm N. Hopfgarten y Ludwig Jollage. El pedestal fue proyectado por el arquitecto Isidro González Velázquez, y tiene dos relieves en bronce de José Piquer. |
