Description
English: Picture of the monument Monumento al Guerriero (litterally: monument to the warrior. The statue is also known as the monument to Alberto da Giussano) in Legnano. The statue is dressed with the flags of the contrada (district/ward) "San Martino" which won the Palio di Legnano horse race in 2016. The statue is in the square Piazza Monumento in Legnano and was made by the sculptor Enrico Butti. The picture was taken on Juni the 1th 2016.
Italiano: Monumento al Guerriero (nota come il monumento ad Alberto da Giussano) di Legnano che è stata vestita con le bandiere della contrada di "San Martino"per festeggiare la vittoria al Palio di Legnano nel 2016. La statua sorge in piazza Monumento, vicino alla stazione ferroviaria della città ed è opera dello scultore Enrico Butti. Foto scattata il 01 giugno 2016.
