Description
Deutsch: Das Moormuseum Moordorf ist wohl eines der einzigartigsten und seltensten Freilichtmuseen in Deutschland.

Es wird auch das "Museum der Armut" genannt und erzählt die über 200-jährige Geschichte einer ostfriesischen Moorkolonie.

Die Besichtigung zeigt dem Besucher auf sehr eindrucksvolle Art die Lebens- und Arbeitsweise der Moordörfler in der Vergangenheit. Ein Besuch, der wirklich lohnt und unvergessliche Eindrücke hinterlässt..

Dieses Bild zeigt das Innere einer Kate. Eindrucksvoll ist hier nachgebildet, wie die Plätze für das Vieh mit im Haus untergebracht waren und die Schlafkojen der Menschen teilweise direkt daran angrenzten.
