Description
Русский: Москва, Новый Арбат 7а - исторический видеоэкран. Первый вариант, еще на лампах накаливания, появился здесь в 1973. Это - третье поколение, 2005 года, на светодиодных панелях.
English: The historical video screen, measuring 16.8x12.8 meters, was installed in Moscow in 1973. The first version used incandescent lamps, the second (1983) used vacuum luminescent bulbs, current (2005) version uses LEDs. Neither of the three has seen frequent use, either due to electrical failures, or due to market crashes and meltdowns.
