Неизвестный художник середины XIX века

Гостиная в доме Александра Николаевича Соймонова 1850—186o-e

А.Н. Соймонов (1780—1856) — помещик, отец Сергея Александровича Соболевского, друга А.С. Пушкина. Дом Соймонова находился в Москве на Малой Дмитровке, под номером i8. Богато отделанная и убранная гостиная характерна для того периода в истории бытового интерьера, когда его архитектоника уже несколько нарушается. Расстановка мебели становится асимметричной и часто не подчиняется архитектурным формам помещения. В данном случае диваны „срезают" углы комнаты, образуя с креслами самостоятельную линию мания живописно-композиционный прием, художником — отражение окон на гладкой гостиной.
