Description
English: Many Ukrainian Christmas decorations are home made. including one of the most popular decorations the rag doll or Motanka. The name comes from the Ukrainian verb“to wind”. Motanky are usually made out of available natural fabric scraps and threads.. Motanky are not just dolls; they are periapts (amulets) saturated with positive energy. These angels are made with a handkerchief sized scrap of fabric and embroidery floss. A halo can be added
