Description
English: This church is of Labourdin type. It has two floors of gallery. A third existed but has now disappeared. This church was the object of several restorations, some of which are recalled on the lintel of the door of entry: 1769 and 1825. Above the porch still exists a local which was the first school of the commune. Until the mid-eighteenth century the notables of the town were still buried in the church or under its porch. Later, the remains were transferred to an ossuary, the tombstones of the nave were removed and that of the porch hammered. Today only parish priests are still buried there. The small cemetery adjoining the church keep today very beautiful examples of discal stelae.
Español: Esta iglesia es de tipo Labourdin. Tiene dos pisos de galerías. Un tercer piso existía pero ahora ha desaparecido. Esta iglesia fue objeto de varias restauraciones, algunas de las cuales se rememoran en el dintel de la puerta de entrada: 1769 y 1825. Sobre el porche todavía existe un local que fue la primera escuela de la comuna. Hasta mediados del siglo XVIII, los notables de la ciudad estaban todavía enterrados en la iglesia o bajo su pórtico. Posteriormente, los restos en fueron trasladados a un osario, se retiraron las lápidas de la nave y se martilló la del porche. Hoy solo los párrocos siguen enterrados allí. El pequeño cementerio contiguo a la iglesia todavía tiene muy hermosos ejemplos de estelas discales.
Français : Cette église est de type Labourdin. Elle présente deux rangs de galeries. Un troisième étage existait mais a aujourd'hui disparu. Cette église fit objet de plusieurs restaurations dont certaines sont rappelées sur le linteau de la porte d'entrée : 1769 et 1825. Au-dessus du porche existe toujours un local qui fut la première école de la commune. Jusqu'au milieu du XVIIIe siècle les notables de la commune étaient encore enterrés dans l'église ou sous son porche. Plus tard, les restes ont été transférés dans un ossuaire, les pierres tombales de la nef ont été enlevées et celle du porche martelées. Aujourd'hui seuls les curé de la paroisse y sont encore inhumés. Le petit cimetière attenant à l'église présente encore de nos jours de très beaux exemples de stèles discoïdales.
