| Description |
English: Mughal Minar.
Mughal Minar (tower) is an archaeological and historical site of Gilgit. Height of the tower is approximately twenty-five to thirty feet. It is located near the top of Khomer hill; the base of hill is approximately one kilometer from Gilgit city. To reach Mugal Minar two or three kilometers further distance to travel through a walking trail climbing from base, need a half hours to cover the distance. This seven hundred years old Minar was built by Taj Mughal ruler after conquered Gilgit in 1320s. |
