Summary

[edit]
Description
English: It was designed primarily for the energy saving that can be achieved by downsizing engines. These are in particular electric motors, but the innovation concerns all types of engines, from the smallest to the largest. It should allow a major source of energy savings in the future.

Most of the time, it will work in "direct drive" mode, the output shaft being directly connected to the input and the racks remaining stationary, but in case of mechanical overload, the CVT will come into play and adapt in real time the transmission ratio to the resistive torque.

This is what allows to use downsized engines, that are lighter, less bulky and more economical to build and to use.

Not only does this device guarantee the constant supply of sufficient torque, but it also protects the engine.
