Description
English: The Passage mural painting by François Schuiten. Location: street Marché au Charbon 19, Brussels. Surface: ±20 m². Realisation: Oreopoulos G. and Vandegeerde D. Year: July 1995. Comment: The panel represent a typical urban landscape of François Schuiten's universe and its obscure cities. Interesting is the recognisable silhouette of the curch Notre-Dame du Bon Secours, direclty located at the other side of the street.

Anmerkung: Das Bild Die Passage schildert eine typische Stadtlandschaft des Universums von François Schuiten und seine geheimnisvollen Städte. Zu beachten ist das erkennbare Schattenbild der Kirche Notre-Dame du Bon Secours, die gerade auf der anderen Seite der Strasse liegt.

Commentaire : Le passage est une scène qui répresente un paysage urbain typiquement appartenant à l'univers de François Schuiten et ses cités obscures. Une curiosité c'est que dans le dessin on voit la silhouette de l'église Notre-Dame du Bon Secours, situé justement à l'autre côté de la Rue du Marché au Charbon.

fr: François Schuiten, né le 26 avril 1956 à Bruxelles, est un dessinateur de bande dessinée et scénographe belge. Rendu célèbre par son travail sur Les Cités obscures réalisé avec le scénariste Benoît Peeters.
