Description
Deutsch: In 1749 wurde zwischen der Regierung vom Kurfürstentum Lüneburg und den östlich von der Rosengartener Forst liegenden Dörfern Sieversen, Sottorf, Alvesen und Vahrendorf, ein Vergleich zur Waldteilung vereinbart, wodurch jede angrenzende Dorfgemeinschaft einen Teil der Staatsforst zugeteilt bekam. Nach der "Ratification" des Vergleichs durch den Kurfürst, König Georg II von Großbritannien und Irland, wurde die Grenze versteint. Dieser Stein trägt die Inschrift "N XLI" ("N" (numero) sowie "XLI", römisch "41") sowie, auf der anderen Seite, ein Wolfsangel-Symbol. Insgesamt markierten 65 Steine diese Grenze, zwischen Sieversen und Neugraben. Die Endsteine, der "Sieverser Stein" (Nr. 1) sowie der "Moisburger Stein" (Nr. 65) wurden erst vier Jahren später aufgestellt.
