Description
Nederlands: Luchtfoto van de Coolsingel en omgeving tussen de Spinhuisstraat (na 1953 Beursplein, links) en de Van Oldenbarneveltstraat (rechts), met op de voorgrond links de nieuwe Beurs, rechts het pand van de Rotterdamsche Bank, en verderop de Schiedamse Vest met het oude warenhuis de Bijenkorf. In het midden van links naar rechts de Steigersgracht, Korte Hoogstraat, het terrein voor de fundamenten voor kledingwinkel C&A Brenninkmeyer, verderop de winkel Gerzon, het Schielandshuis en het de Erasmusflat/het Erasmushuis (HBU-gebouw) aan het Bulgersteyn. Op de achtergrond de Blaak met de Amsterdamse en Incassobank, en het pand van ICI (Imperial Chemical Industries) in aanbouw, daarnaast de Leuvesluis en de Leuvehaven, met rechts de Schiedamsedijk. Uit het noordwesten. Datering: 1951
