Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Amarapura, Burma

First half of 19th century

The Naga-Yon temple is shaped in the form of, and dedicated to, the naga Mucalinda, who sheltered Buddha during a storm. It should not be confused with the much earlier temple of the same name at Pagan.
