Description
日本語: 南海電鉄岸里玉出駅岸里口。ここは南海本線・高野線・関西空港線の基幹路線が乗り入れているほか、汐見橋支線の起点駅となっている（2013年5月　MASA (talk)撮影）
元々、この地には岸ノ里駅と、400mほど離れた近接地の玉出駅の2つに分かれていたが、1993年4月に萩之茶屋～旧玉出駅間が高架化、また1985年に実施された立体交差工事の実施に伴い、1993年4月に2つの駅を統廃合したうえで当駅が誕生した。
汐見橋支線は高野線の一部とみなされており、元々は、汐見橋駅を高野線の起終点とし、ここから高野線・極楽橋駅方面までの列車が運行されていたが、利便性の観点で難波駅～当駅まで南海本線の区間に乗り入れる電車が多く存在したのと1985年の立体交差工事完成に伴い、岸里駅で分断されてしまったため、それ以後は汐見橋支線と高野線本線が完全に分離する形となった。
