Français : Plaque de localisation de l'ancien jardin des apothicaires à Nantes (1688-1877)
English: Location plaque of the ancient botanic garden of Nantes (1688-1877)

Inscription: En ce lieu a existé de 1688 à 1877 le Jardin des Apothicaires, fondé par lettres patentes de Louis XIV sur un terrain acquis par la ville en 1471, dénommé « Jardin de la Butte », utilisé par les tireurs à l’arc avant d’être concédé à la corporation des apothicaires pour la culture des plantes officinales. – Le Jardin des Apothicaires a servi également à l’acclimatation des plantes exotiques que les capitaines de vaisseaux ramenaient d’Amérique et permis l’organisation de cours de botanique.
