Description
English: The office of the Girls' Hird in Rådhusgata Street No. 17 in Oslo, Norway, with national leader Mrs. Sigrun Nossum in January 1941. The image shows office workers (leaders/members), uniformed in the Girls' Hird paramilitary uniform, including the party's sun cross emblem, at two desks with a typewriter, a telephone, stamps, a map on the wall, and more.
  • The Jentehirden ('Girls' Hird') was part of the NS Ungdomsfylking (NSUF), the German-friendly fascist party Nasjonal Samling's youth organization, and the Hird, the party's paramilitary political troops, during World War II in German-occupied Norway.
