Description
English: These trishaws (beca) originated from Parit Jawa, Muar, Johor. They are painted green, red, black and yellow, colours popular to that era. The seat, which comes complete with a backrest, is padded with coconut husk. They can carry two adult passengers plus one or two children. The hood is made of canvas, which can easily be opened or closed when necessary. On the left trishaw, the driver pedals behind the passengers. On the right trishaw, the driver pedals to the right of the passengers.
