Deutsch: Naturschutzgebiet Hochwald Bayerischer Wald - Dreisessel-Hochstein
Wegen der beeindruckenden Felsformationen und der naturnahen Hochlagenwälder wurde bereits 1938 ein 268 ha großer Bereich des Grenzkamms zwischen Hochstein und Dreiländereck Deutschland, Österreich, Tschechien als Naturschutzgebiet ausgewiesen. Inzwischen gehört dieses Areal als sogenanntes Flora-Fauna-Habitat- Gebiet auch zum europäischen Schutzgebietsnetz „Natura 2000“. |
